ADV 101 – HEAVY ENDURO TRAINING IS HERE!!! Sign up today and get ready for your next off-road adventure. This instructor lead course is intended for novice and intermediate off-road riders looking to get more confident on their Adventure and Dual Sport bikes. The instructor will cover skills that will help you tackle a Backcountry Discovery Route (BDR) or an adventure trail like the Kentucky Adventure Tour (KAT) . You will learn proper body position to manage the weight of an adventure bike, hard braking, cornering, whoops and crossing obstacles.
Minimum skills required for this course are solid on-road skills, confident clutch and brake control, and experience riding highway speeds, winding roads and possibly gravel fire roads. (Not highway speeds on gravel roads, that’s ADV 401)
Overkill Andy will be your lead instructor. He has raced off-road both on dirtbikes and adventure bikes, participating and placing in AMA District 17 races, the Sandblast Rally, Dacre Dual Sport Challenge among other off-road events. Follow them on Instagram @heavyenduro and visit their website @ https://www.heavyenduro.com to learn more about Heavy Enduro
